GTJ currently offers 10-week, 12 hours per week unpaid student internships for travel journalists on a rolling basis in the following fields:
- Writing
- Web Design
- Photography
- Social Media
- Multimedia production
- Digital Marketing & Communications
- Art (Watercolor & Line Sketching for example)
GTJ plans to pursue grant applications that would provide payment for internships. We are also exploring opportunities to offer course credits.
In return, each intern will be assigned relevant work, will be introduced to a formal schedule of editorial meetings and will receive close remote guidance and instruction in the applicable discipline. You would be exposed to everything involved in the running of an online niche-interest, cottage-industry magazine.
